Vocabulary: seasons and months of the year (level: elementary)







This printable handout includes very basic vocabulary about the seasons and months of the year as well as some important celebrations in English speaking countries. It is especially aimed at elementary students.


Seasons of the year

ESL - vocabulary - seasons of the yearRemember: we use the preposition "in" with the seasons:
I usually go to the beach IN summer.

Months of the year

January - February - March - April - May - June - July - August - September - October - November - December

Remember: We also use the preposition "in" the the months of the year:
We celebrate Christmas IN December.
